Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To produce them, you need an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces stays on the spot until the next Success is to be rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open, they display a full description and the icon of the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not affect the item's longevity. It's an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in battle, but don't want to burden their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to the new gear.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It's done by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When upgrade item has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Also, when a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for additional effects or to increase the item level. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it cannot be removed and substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve the perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
